What's Education?

Education is an agent for development, for building prosperous nations, for creating peaceful societies and for the common good of all. It represents an opportunity and eradicate poverty and hunger by giving people the knowledge and skills they need to earn their livelihood.According to UNICEF,one extra year of schooling increases a person's earning by up to 10% .171 million people could be lifted out of poverty if all students in low-income countries left school with basic reading skills!.Education is the ray of hope in fighting the poverty of millions of underprivileged children worldwide. Education is also integral to address the ills of society, particularly girls,to a life without quality education-and,therefore,to a life of missed opportunities.Educating a girl greatly increases the chance that her children, and generations after that, will be educated too and lead better lives.Education brings increased awareness of health and nutrition. In fact education is the best vaccine against many preventable life threatening diseases. From better health to increased wealth, from better lives to a prosperous nation, education is a major catalyst of development.

Education is critical to human progress. It is a fundamental human right.Every child is                                                entitled  to it.Every child has a right to go to school.

But regrettably millions are still being left behind.
This reminds us of onerous responsibility we have:to reach all children, especially the disadvantaged, the vulnerable and the marginalized. To help them become capable of fulfilling their dreams. To help them grow to their full potential. To make them better humans and responsible citizens.

Knowledge is  power.Spread it as widely as possible.Spread it because it is possible that it
creates a ripple effect that sets in motion to change the world.

Spread it becuase you can make a difference to many lives.Share it because if one child discovers the                joy of learning, or just one indivisual's life is better through this simple act of yours,
there's hope alive, hope for our world and societies to become a little better,
a little more coperative and a little wiser.

One Gesture. One Person. One moment at a time.
